French Yellow Clay

What is yellow clay?

Yellow clay is a 100% natural mineral clay from France. The clay is pale yellow in colour and is a fine consistency.

Our french yellow clay is composed of illite and kaolin.

What is yellow clay used for?

It is suitable for all skin types including normal and sensitive skin. It is a very gentle clay with great exfoliating properties and it helps remove impurities in the skin. Yellow clay is often used in cosmetics like face masks, cleansers and soaps.

Yellow clay is also used in hair care products including shampoo and hair masks. It can be used on normal and fine hair types. It is used in haircare to absorb excess sebum and strengthen brittle and fine hair.

Make your own clay face mask with yellow clay

Ingredients:

• Water 10g
• Honey 2g
• French yellow clay 15g
• Rosehip oil 2g
  

Method:

1. Weigh out the water and honey into a bowl and mix together
2. Add the french yellow clay until fully combined.
3. Add the rosehip oil and combine.
4. Once all of the ingredients are mixed well, it is ready to use!
